The staff here at Avila Senior Living at Downtown SLO has been incredible. My grandmother can be challenging at times, yet the staff continues to be caring and compassionate. I looked at many places before and am convinced I made the right choice. I would not hesitate to recommend Avila Senior Living at Downtown SLO to a friend or relative who is looking for senior living.

Avila Senior Living has a marvelous location. With a few moments of walking are art galleries, museums, shops, cafes, coffee houses,and a charming creek that gently winds it way through San Luis Obispo. You will not be disappointed.

I really enjoyed my visit at the Avila Senior Living. While looking for a soft landing place for my mom, I immediately felt at home when i walked in the building. There is a cozy sitting area and a fireplace, where a few residents were having coffee and talking and laughing or reading. The receptionist was very helpful, they even had a welcome sign with my mom’s name on it. While touring, there was a bday party in the grand atrium room for a few of the residents, everyone was very welcoming. The community was very clean and there were beautiful flower arrangements around the front desk and in the dining room. We truly enjoyed our tour. We are looking forward to my mom moving in.

Hard to isolate any individual for above and beyond service as the entire staff qualify. We consider this place our home and everyone is professional, caring, kind and helpful.
